Space: The Something Something

I am the perennial nerd, for those of you not yet in "the loop." BTW, the loop, for me, is extremely large, and I think it is broken in several places. Anyway, I have a lotta nerdy stuff to talk about, and what better place to start than Star Trek? Yes, lately I've gotten back into watching the old TNG reruns on Spike TV, cuz quite frankly, nothing better is on at noon or one pm. And honestly, they ARE really good TV. I can't really explain it, any better than the fact that TNG really does give you the impression of what it like to live on a starship. And that, my friends, is my dream. Not to be an amazing Starfleet Captain or high ranking officer, but just the average guy. Dude in the blue shirt who looks at the wall and hits random buttons on the computer. I'd love that job. It's like a desk job, only on a starship. It'd rock. I want that job.

Also, Data > Kikiader, or w/e other robot-trying-to-become-human story you want to talk about. I feel sorry he died in Nemesis (crappy movie, all most entirely) and couldn't continue his quest.

Moving on to another Star-thing, I have once again somewhat dived into Starcraft. Not entirely, mind you, but I have an excess of free time, and in that free time, I am up for a friendly game every once in a while. It was in this kind of mood that I got into a conversation comparing game libraries with a friend online. We ended up having only Warcraft 3 in common, and that didn't work out. I tried to convince him, and I shall try to convince you all, of the merits of STARLANCER! Prequel to Freelancer, Starlancer is one of the best starfighter sims out there, and definitely the best for less than $2. X-Wing Vs. Tie Fighter was also good game, and I'm surprised more people didn't get it. Oh well.

This recent line of thought prompted me today to do something rash. I was at Best Buy today, with my mom, getting a new keyboard, cuz something went wrong with the old one. (Nothing big, mind you, there was some minor glitch that we got fixed after we came home with the new one. u.u ) Anyway, while there, I spotted Unreal Tournament 2k4, and I got Mom to buy it for me, and I would get it upon cleaning my room. My room, by the way, is a mess. So. After a good weekends worth of work, I should be able to play this cutting-edge game. Anyone else got it? Gonna get it? Think it sucks and I shouldn't bother getting it? In any case, if I'm not on much in the next few days, that's why. See ya later.

Random Check-in

OMG IM BORED!!! I really need to work on this thing more, too, so here I am. Let's see, I'll start off with an anti-plug for Gmail, Google's email service. It seems perfect for me, right? G-Mail - Greg Mail? Well, I don't fucking care. And I wish Blogger would stop bugging me about it. I'll stick with Hotmail, tyvm... *Watches as his account on Blogger gets deleted.* *Cries.*

Okay, none of that. Also in my news, I went to Sunday School this morning. It was odd. The teacher placed limitations on God, an Omnipotent being. Apparently, despite being ever-present and omniscient, God cannot go near sin or even look at it! *Head explodes from logical fallacy.* I suppose it's alright, since we were in the same class as some middle schoolers. (I don't know why.) Anyway, then he had us write a letter to God, asking him for forgiveness on some issue so he could absolve us of our sins. Here's what I wrote.

Dear God,
Greetings from Earth. It's kinda hot here. Yesterday, I saw "The Alamo." It was cool, Since you're omniscient, I know you've seen it, too. What did you think? I know, it was not "The Passion," but I liked it. Well, see ya around.
-Greg

Yep, I wrote God a postcard. Also, the teacher instructed us to, at one point, make a bulls-eye for our actions in relation to God and holiness. In the center, we were supposed to write God and Holy. Earlier, he had asked us how close to God the concept of Holy was, saying "Stop me when it's close enough." (He was using two pieces of paper... o.0?) I remembered thinking that really, he wouldn't be close enough until the two pieces of paper were fused together at the molecular level, cuz they are one and the same. Therefore, the center of my bulls-eye looked like this (without the underscores, of course):

_H
GOD
_L
_Y

Yep. I'm clever. Btw, I don't really believe all this that much, but it's still fun to play along and find the flaws in the teachers. After all, they're only human.

Recently, at the advice of a few friends, I shaved my pubes. Actually, that's not something I'm gonna talk about out here. IM me, maybe we'll talk about it. MAYBE.

Okay, Levine out!

This Story Thingy

This isn't the final Detective Greg story. It's just something random I wrote up in AIM, on the influence of just 3 words "This story thingy." Okay, that's about all the lead in this deserves.

"This Story Thingy" by Greg Levine

So, there was this guy, right? And he sorta liked this chick, but he didn't want to say anything, because he thought shed get freaked out. Then this one day, shit happened. Crazy shit. Shit you would not believe.Shitt that, if i wrote it down on a piece of paper, the paper would burst into flames. I did it once. Damn near burnt my hand. Whilst this shit was going down, the guy and the girl got trapped in some place. It was the kinda place you don't want to be alone, and so it was good they were together. It was there that the guy revealed his true feelings to the chick, because he figured he was gonna die anyway, so he might as well just tell her and get it over with. Then a crazy thing happened. It turned out that the chick liked him too. And so, united by their newfound relationship, the pair went into action. At this point, the story grows confusing. There are many conflicting versions as to what happened. Some people say there was a car chase. Other insist nuclear weapons were involved. Still others say it was as simple as throwing a rock through a hula hoop. Whatever the case was, the two had done it, and they lived happily ever after.

Okay serious stuff now. Just for a second. I've been lazy. I need to update. Lessee... I did an interview at Geoffry's Toys'R'Us, which is like an TRU Ultimate. They have everything your child needs, from age 0 on up. And they have the TRexclusiveve G1 re-issue Transformers. I'd forgotten they were TRexclusiveses cuz I was able to buy different things overseas that were really the same thing in non-TRU. Anyway, now that I'm working there, I can buy them for cheap. Wahoo!

The Ninja Rap was playing while I wrote this. Seemed like a note-worthy topic. I'll end here. I prolly have more to say, but... Meh.

New Friends

I don't know where you people all come from. Someone named GooseyGirl96 IM'ed me the other day, and I don't know who that is. SushiRll remains a mystery as well. ShrtCkBarbie is someone I remember from a while back, one of my brothers friends, but she too remains silent onto who she is, or why she chose to IM me. And it's not just on AIM, either. My old Xanga Account is still active, and some random person found that. I am highly confused by all this.

Ace of WHAT?

Who the hell named the band "Ace of Base"? And why isn't it spelled Bass? Jeez... I spend my days living with two guitar players, learn to appreciate a good thumping techno song, and finally learn the difference between bass the fish and bass the musical sound, and this stupid band from the early '90s screws it all up for me! Oh well... I found it. And you know what? It's weird. I found the song "Cruel Summer" by them, and began to download it... It's taking me nearly an hour, so my comp says. I watched my download speed steadily drop down, until it was under one Kbps, and is now hovering between 700 and 900 bytes per second! Wow.

Also in the news... Today is tax day. Apparently, because I went and worked at McDonald's, I need to pay those. >.< Oh well, I should be getting a tax refund from the US Govt, so that'll be fun. I just gotta go ahead and do it... I don't get it? We have an entire department full of people trained in Tax law... why can't THEY just do it themselves? Why do innocent people have to become accountants? Heh, you know, really, I'm just lazy.

Here's a weird thought. A girl told me yesterday that I was not a goody-two-shoes. I felt almost hurt by that. I thought I was DEFINITELY a goody-two-shoes. I've done no alcohol or drugs, always followed the straight and narrow (for the most part). Hmm... I dunno, if I'm not a goody-two-shoes, what am I? I'm not really a miscreant, I'm not a stoner, or a bully or w/e their modern day equivelant is. I'm not a hacker, all fantasies aside. I'm a pacifist, I suppose, and a coward (the two sorta go hand in hand, sometimes. ). Actually, I suppose it's just that I've never found anything worth fighting for.

Someone named SushiRll just IM'ed me... Someone figure out who that is for me. Thanks.

Alright, I'm done. So long folks!

Air Blogging

Okay, first time to write one of these at this altitude. That's right, I'm writing this from midair. *Checks battery - 1h20m left.* Perfect. Yes another reason I need to get a lightweight, longer lasting mobile comp. I've been thinking about one of those tablet things, so I can just fold it up and read or watch whatever without worrying about a keyboard. Sides, it transforms! You know me. I can't resist a transforming anything.

Random note: *Puts on "My Immortal"* I've had that song running through my head lately, so I just hadda hear it. It's gonna do bloody hell on my battery life, though.

Speaking of my love of transforming things, the Transformers specifically, I just wanted to say, no, I really don't know what I like about them so much. My little cousin asked me why earlier today. Truth be told I was mostly using the book's I'd gotten to make an excuse to not deal with her, the same reason I started leaving Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance in my GBA (she hates that game), and though I do feel kinda bad for not bringing any Sonic or Mario games... Well, lets just say a month of playing big brother for her has worn me out. Anyway, I can't tell you what it is about the Transformers that makes me want to buy anything related to them in the slightest way (not really true; I've had no inclination to buy children's coloring books featuring them). I suppose it stems from my mechanical inclination - I've been able to figure most of them out with ease, since I was young - and also their connection with my childhood. As most of you know, I'm not exactly the most mature guy around. I'd prolly cause a "REAL" Transfan to have a fit if he knew I'd bought the Collectors edition Soundwave to PLAY with him. ^-^ He's so cool! And, why? Again that question raises its ugly head. I don't know why giant robots that turn into cars or planes or tape decks are so damn awesome, but... Well, dammit, they are! Sigh. I just wasted a paragraph to say "cuz I sed so!"

Oh well, that wasn't my only reason for this post. Part of me is glad I can't get any internet access at this altitude. (Dammit, which one of you made "cant" a word? Fucker) See, I wouldn't know what time to say it is over there. My plane left at 10:30 Honolulu Time, and for some reason that state doesn't recognize daylight savings time, like most of the world, so that would be 3:30 AM in Texas. Who's hair-brained idea was it to make the continental United States look like crono-retards? (I'm looking your way, Mr. "Cant".) After sitting through a two hour, I suppose, movie (more on that later) I pulled this thing out. My clock tells me it's now 6 AM in Austin... 8 hrs till I'm home... *Sighs* I guess that would make it 1 AM in Hawaii, and I'll hit the hay when this is done, and I guess that right now, its... 2 or so locally. Yay for mid-air, late-night math.

The movie was alright. I watched Chasing Liberty, the old(?) Mandy Moore flick about the president's daughter on a whirlwind tour of Europe by the seat of her pants... Mmmmm... Mandy Moore's pants... *Drools* Okay, focus. Aside from making Mandy run a lot, proving what a bouncy young lady she is... Where was I going with that? Oh yeah, there was some plot in it. Fed up with being followed by secret service agents, Ann, I believe her name was, runs off, enlisting the aid of the first guy she sees with a scooter... who turns out to be the youngest, sexiest (I suppose; I'm new to this "Judging other guy's" thing) secret service agent. She is allowed a little "Controlled freedom" by daddy (I kept hoping for some parallels between that and the current state of our freedom under Bush, but.. Who am I kidding? It's a Mandy Moore movie!), and Ben the secret agent she doesn't know about takes her on a trip. Of course, the two fall in love, then she finds out, blah blah blah, I hate you for lying to me, but I love you so I'll forgive you after being an angst-y teen for 15 minutes, the end. Anyway, after watching for 15 minutes, I decided on a much better ending, one where she doesn't wait till the last minute to find out he's an agent (dumb broad), instead figuring it our early on, and letting him use his expertise to get the pair even more lost, and much happiness ensues ever after. Hehe... I should be a writer. Oh wait, I am!

Speaking of which, "Zombies In New Orleans", the last of Detective Greg's adventures, is coming soon to this website. I'm at least half way done with it, so stay tuned. After this step, I need to work more on the GS:C story (Cesar's slowness in drawing is no excuse for me to not have more than one script done... Ugh.) Also, with that out of the way, I can start work on the Plague Survivors epic I hyped up all those months ago. That, plus I'm planning to let Vikki post, so you don't wanna miss that! ^-^ You keep reading, I'll keep posting. Hell, I'll keep posting them no matter what. If no one reads, its just like a diary I keep online instead of on my cupboard (cuz honestly, who has cupboards anymore?)

Ugh... Bouncy airplane table, lack of sleep, low lights, dying battery: all are telling me to sleep. Good night all. This will be posted when I get home. So if you've read this, I made it in safe and sound. Later!

I'm So Brilliant I Amaze Myself

Somehow, I got talking about the Laws of Conservation of Matter and Energy. They're fun little dealies. Matter cannot be destroyed or created. Ditto for energy. So, this got me thinking: if they can neither be destroyed or created, then they are, chronologically, INFINITE. In other words, they have existed since the beginning of the universe. Or something. As I thought, I realized that the universe didn't "begin," it cycles. The big bang was but one extreme on the universe's cycle, as it went from being compressed into a hugely dence point of all the matter in the universe, until something inside exploded under the pressure, releasing all the energy, and sending all matter jetting in all directions. But it is still connected by gravity, so eventually, it will come back together, and recompress, and then explode yet again. A perfect perpetual motion machine, really, because no matter or energy is wasted, it is all locked away in the ziplock-sealed system that is the universe.

I know that seems too simple, but be it my sub-college level physics training, or the fact that it's too close to midnight to be doing high-grade physics, I can't spot the flaw. So... Take THAT Steven Hawkings!

My brain hurts now, I'm gonna rest it.

Stuff Breaks

Shit, my watch broke. Yet another in a long line of things that have crapped out on me lately:

I lost my MP3 player. Stupid maids took it, I know they did...

After letting Clara play with Soundwave, I notice that one of his legs is looser than the other.

Lazerbeaks head won't go completely in him correctly in tape mode.

Diablo 2 I got was in Chinese, not English like the lady said.

My laptop has slowly been molting its little rubber grips on its base, so now they're all gone. Plus, last night i nearly overheated it by leaving it fan-side down on my bed. That's a no-no, kiddos.

And my wallet keeps getting emptier and emptier, with no sign of refilling any time soon. That's not really broken, but I'd like it if it did work that way...

Ugh. Another Midnight:30 Report

Oh well. I just finished reading the first 6 chapters of Transformers: Hardwired. It’s damn cool, even if it is just my fandom talking. It’s set in the same world as the Dreamwave comics, where the Transformers, after they’re pre-movie exploits back in the 80’s, were finally able to get the Decepticons under control, and rocket home to Cybertron, only to have their shuttle explode shortly after lift off, then get reanimated in present day, and continue their vicious war as though it never stopped. A few differences are there, though. The Transformers are all much deeper characters than the children’s cartoon from my childhood. In effect, this is basically an in depth analysis of what the 80’s TV cartoons usually had us take for granted. There were two teams, a good side and a bad side, and they’re fighting. That’s it. They fight over and over, week after week, and nothing changes. No one dies, nothing really unchangeable happens from episode to episode. Of course, that’s not how life works. In a real war, there is morale to consider, there are motives to consider, there casualties to consider. No one ever died on the Transformers cartoon (except for the Movie, but even then, Optimus Prime was brought back later on in the series.) This new series takes a much more adult look at the situation. It’s to be expected, I suppose, seeing as how the people who used to watch the show back in the day are now grown up, that the Transformers should, too. Many times, Optimus has doubted his abilities as leader. “Could I have prevented this death here? Or those deaths there? Which is more important: the lives of my friends and comrades, or those of the innocents who didn’t ask for two armies of robots to use their home planet as a battlefield?” I know, it’s almost cliché to read, but still, its kind of fun to imagine a Giant Fighting Robot (™) thinking about such things.

So, the story I’m reading: After the initial battle that took place in L.A. (in the first comic volume), the entire west coast lies in ruins, and many people are blaming the Autobots for the mess. And yes, partially it is their fault, but still… Anyway, Prime, Jazz, and Bluestreak head off to Tokyo for a goodwill PA kind of meeting, to let everyone know they’re cool, really. Of course, Megatron shows up. Just Megatron, however, and no one knows how he managed to sneak into the country, or where he’d been hiding before then. After what could have been the final battle where Prime almost kills Megs (no, he needs to capture the evil giant for interrogation), all four of the Transformers, as well as over 200 human ‘hostages’ are captured, and sent to some place where the robots can relive their original design purpose: Gladiatorial Combat. Meanwhile, Spike is being used to infiltrate some mysterious group known as the Followers, Prowl and Bumblebee are being used to fan the media flames of anti-Autobot sentiments (Bumblebee apparently sucks at interviews. Go figure), and to top it all off, Starscream, after assuming command in Megatron’s absence, is headed for Vegas. Who knew they fighter jets gamble in Nevada? Oh, and I love his quote, so I shall leave you with it:

“Who needs to rule the world when you can be a god in a city that’s a world onto itself?”

FUCKING HTML...

As you may have read in my last post, I had some trouble with the way this thing reads apostrophes. Well, that's not the only part that's fucked up. Apparently, my emoting method, the brackets I use on AIM, don't appear here. After using them for, oh, 5 months, almost, I just now, tonite, discovered that they don't appear on the site. Apparently, Blogger catches them as HTML and hides them. How *twitch* nice of it.... *twitch**twitch* So, as you can see, I switched to the ** method, for Blogging, anyway. I'm too dead set in AIM to fix anything else. But yeah, I just went back through all 50+ posts (I know its more than 50 because the maximum number it would let me see is 50 at a time without searching for blankness) and switched them. Which is hard, basically I just went back and re-read all of my old posts. It was kinda fun. Heh. That's the old Greg you all know and love. Can't be put down by anything. I'm just too perky. It's almost... Scary. Hrmm... *Considers letting Vikki write a guest post...* >.n (Oh god, I hope the wink shows up, at least.)

4 Pages of Midnight Rambling

Man, I've done a horrible job of keeping up with this thing. I'd use my vacation as an excuse, but as many of you know, I spend much of my time online. I guess you could say that Hawai'i is where I stay while the battery charges.

I'm writing this at 0:02 local time, so I'm gonna do some incoherent babbling now:

'Bring Me To Life' is an awesome song. Someone needs to remove the vocal track and just gimme the guitar / bass / drums / violin. Violins are definitely the coolest instrument in a rock song. And Evanescence, despite the impossible-to-spell name (mad props to spell cheque), is in general a kick ass band. I wouldn't mind receiving their CD's for a birthday.

I seem to have lost my Mini-Disk player. 4 months is a new low for me. I suck at portable electronics, it seems. This laptop is nice, tho. Speaking of which, when GS:C hits it big, I'm trading this thing in for a smaller, lightweight model with a decent battery, and a top-o'-the-line desktop machine. Then I will be l33t. And by lightweight, I mean one of those tablet things, so I can read sites all cool like, or something. It'll make watching videos a lot cooler, anyway. Hope my arms don't get tired.

Back onto Evanescence for a second: I hate 'My Immortal.' No, that's not right. It's a good song. A great song. It gets an emotional response outta me, so it does its purpose. Its just sad, you know? 'Surrender' is cool, though.

I've gotten more into Cowboy Bebop. Just saw 'Mushroom Samba.' Ein on 'shrooms makes me laugh. I'm almost curious as to what Ed's 'shroom experience would be, except that she's so weird anyway, the 'shrooms wouldn't really have an effect, possibly. Like the time she ate that thing in 'Toys In The Attic.' Maybe I have problems, but I think Ed's cute. Don't get me wrong, Faye's still the hottie on board the Bebop, but I guess Ed gets second place. Which is good, right? Because the other members are, in turn, a dog, a cyborg, and a bad-ass. ("Who is this guy, and what business does he have saying he's bi?" I'll get to that.) But yeah, I'm noticing more and more that the soundtrack to Bebop is very, very cool, and probably a big part of the show (note how all the episode titles are song names). I'm glad I got P.J. the soundtrack for his birthday. I'll have to steal it from him and rip it to disk ASAP. Look for it on the 27th! (jk)

About my bi-ness: some girl online said I wasn't REALLY bi, since I was staying loyal to my boy friend. I failed to see the logic in that argument. I also liked the argument my bf's mom gave. "If you don't do anal, you ain't bi." So, you have it from two reputable sources: I'm straight. (You KNOW I'm not gay, or you'd better, at least.) I just happen to suck some guys cock on a regular basis. And just the one! Don't come to me with your dick-sucking needs, you fruits. BTW, this is all purely online; I have never met the guy aside from AIM. But I still love him!

(I like parentheses.)

So it was announced on the 1st (and confirmed, well, today) that Wizards is making Magic: Unhinged (a.k.a. Unglued 2). This sounds like it should be some fun. As it will be released during the time I'll be living at Tech, I should be able to hook up with some other goofy players for some Unhinged action. Maybe I'll even steal a few of my mom's old Unglued packs for some UG/UH drafting. That'd be awesome. *Remembers that not all of you play Magic... yet.* I suppose I should clarify. Unhinged is not just another Magic set. You won't see me get this excited over 5th Dawn. (Unless it has some really sweet cards, of course.) But Unhinged, like Unglued before it, will be an off the wall set of cards that do really stupid things. Hurloon Wrangler - 2R for a 2/2 with Denim-walk (unblockable if the opponent is wearing denim) - is the best example of this. For that card, removal of pants was ruled to occur at a speed faster than mana production. So, people would play without pants. There's something that gets some ability when you do the hokey pokey, and something else that gets flying if you flap your arms like a chicken. Weird shit like that. Of course, that's Unglued. As for Unhinged, well, it's not out till November, so not much is known about it, but the card name 'City of Ass' intrigues me...

This Foo Fighters song - 'Times Like These' - has some funky sound in the background. Can't tell if it's the crappy headphones or my track or what. Updates as... Ah, never, really.

More on Manga: NO ONE HAS MEGATOKYO #1!!! GRRRR... I finally found a Waldenbooks here today (yesterday. Shut up, midnight.), and was shocked to discover that even 5 days after its release, they didn't have it. Or it was sold out, or something. .Hack//Twilight #3, the other manga I'm looking for, isn't out yet either, I guess, which makes me sad, because I wanna find out what happens! *Crys, anime-style* I didn't wanna look like a jerk, specially after asking the nice lady where they kept the manga, by walking out after looking at it for 3 seconds, so I pulled Love Hina #2 off the shelf, and got it. I read it before I wrote this, but I just wanna say I hate cliffhangers. Especially when they involve me not having enough money to see what happens! Will Keitome make it into Tokyo U? (Probably not yet, there are a lot more Love Hina volumes out there, but hey, if I can make it into Tech, he can make it into Tokyo U.) Is Nani really his true love from 15 years ago? (That's the part I don't get. That makes her 2 when she made him promise... WAY too young to be doing shit like that.) And what of poor Robin!? (I mean, really, poor guy, he just sits around in that boring old mansion waiting for Alfred to answer the phone so he can slip into green tights and run around with an insane man twice his age. Okay, I just put this bit in because I'm feeling silly. Hell, that explains most of my blogs, ever.) Stay toned, Greg-fans!

So Matt tells me he doesn't have a TV or gaming system. I suppose as the Fish (or whatever, I'm a year below him in school), it falls on me to equip us. I've already volunteered one of the circuit-breaking box fans from our garage, conceivably could sneak out either PJ's or Dan's television and bring it. I also could conceivably bring along the Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and Playstation (One, sadly; the PS2s in China that were supposedly international - I doubt that claim after my experience with D2 - were too expensive. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get one one of these days!)

Hmm... I wonder why winamp only comes out of one side of my computer. I don't think I have it set for mono. *Goes and checks.* Hmm, I seem to have deleted it. Oh well! *Huggles WMP.*

OH! That was the one thing I never mentioned, really, and wanted to. Two things, really, but one at a time, here. Firstly, my uncle snores. Loudly. It sucks. Keeps me up all night, doing things like this. When I'm done here, I'm leaving my laptop on the bed, and sleeping with headphones on. And they hurt. Damn you, Uncle! I suppose I shouldn't speak badly of him. It's not his fault. The REALLY annoying thing, though, is that when he gets up in the morning, he expects me to rise and shine too. Like I haven't been kept up all night by his snoring. Does he not know? How could he miss that? Agh! Plus, he is the LAST person I think should be rushing me, since his schizophrenia medication makes him go slower than everyone else in the family. Meanwhile, I'm probably the fastest, walking, anyway. As in, I can catch up easily to him. So he has no need to rush me. And he gets on my case about random things. It's so annoying. I know he tries, so I don't want to upset him, but... uuuuuuuuu....

Oh well, at least I got a real bed for once. ^-^

The other thing that bugged me was my cousin Lena. Not the new baby from China, Lena is the 6 year old from Tennessee who loves it when I come visit. She's really sweet; for instance, today, she spotted a nifty TF shirt I hadn't seen while I was away at Waldenbooks. I bought it, though it's a size too small... Getting sidetracked. u.u Anyway, she's nearly my shadow now-a-days, especially with my brothers gone. I think partly it was the fact that Clara was getting all the attention everyone else used to give her. And partly it's that she just wants to get in my pants - I need to stop carrying around an EB Games store in my pockets. But mostly, I'm sure she's just being 6 ("almost 7!" I can hear her say). And there's nothing wrong with that. Except for one thing. Clara doesn't like her car seat. She hates it. Cries whenever we go anywhere. So, Lena decided to cheer her up by singing a happy song from Sunday School, or something. "I'm up I'm down I'm in I'm out I'm happy all the time! / I'm up I'm down I'm in I'm out I'm happy all the time! / Cuz Jesus saved my sins! / blah blah blee blee blah blee! / I'm up I'm down I'm in I'm out I'm hap-py all the time!" Problem is, the song isn't just happy; its HYPER. And Lena doesn't just sing it, she practically YELLS it. I suppose she has to, to make it over Clara's wails, but still. In my opinion, when a child is scared by something, and panicking, then fast, upbeat, LOUD songs are not the answer. Slow, low, loving ones, are. Sigh. Being buckled up next to her can be a pain.

Take also yesterdays (shut up midnight!) drive to the airport. Lena discussed her hatred of bobcats, because one supposedly ate her old cat once. I assured her that bobcats didn't eat other cats out of spite, but rather because of how their bodies work. I explained to her that her theory of leaving cat food out for bobcats would not work, because it just wasn't good for them, and besides, they need to hunt. I then did my take on the Crocodile Hunter vs. a can of cat food. It wasn't anything special, just a bad Steve Irwin impression in a life or death struggle against Tuna-Flavored Friskies. I won't bug you with it. I was going to, because I thought it was okay. But then Lena made me do it again. Then when I refused a third time, she did it. And I believe it to now be not as funny as earlier stated. Plus, Steve Irwin impressions don't translate into text.

Wow, I hit nearly 2000 words. Go me! Alright, I think I collapse now. Goodnight!

Oh, and despite what Hill says, Nelly Furtado or w.e does not suck. Give me some more of her mp3s.

Added at release time: Sorry this came out so late; I was supposed to put it up in the morning, but things came up, so, I didn't. New things: Got Love Hina #3, so that's cool, along with a couple of Transformers novels. Books one and two of a trilogy. SUPPOSEDLY the same trilogy, but I have some doubts. I guess we shall see.

*Hits spell check.*
*Cringes. u.u*

APRIL FOOLS!

You people suck at being dependable to read this thing. My prank totally failed... Oh well. As you can tell, I am alive and well. When I was writing that, though, I was thinking 'wouldn't it suck if I really DID get hurt?" Heh. Anyway, I was sorta serious about that auctioning off all my shit for charity... enough rambling. I'm done for tonite. Hawaii is exausting.

Some Bad News

Hello to all of Greg’s friends. This is a message being written by his family. We don’t know any of you, but we felt you should be told of recent events none-the-less. As you know, Greg has been on vacation in Hawaii. This morning, Greg went out surfing on the beach. He has been taking lessons, and enjoys it a great deal. However, today was not one of his better days and on what would have been his last surf of the day, Greg slipped off his board, hit his head, and cut up his leg on a rock just under water. He was rushed to the Honolulu Hospital emergency room where we all waited nervously, until a doctor finally let us in to see him. Greg was in a coma.

Greg is breathing steadily, but the doctors do not know when he will wake up, or even if he ever will. He looks very comfortable in his current state, though, and we will definitely not be “pulling the plug” on him. We will just keep praying for him to wake up. He seems to be able to hear us, somewhat. He reacted slightly to all of our voices, in slight adjustments of his blood pressure and breathing, and he even smiled at the sound of Clara’s voice. We are all very hopeful that he will wake up, but we felt you all would want to know about it. We are also asking for your help. The doctors say that since he can hear us, there is a chance that his brain is somewhat awake, and believe that if he hears more conversations, it will wake his brain up more. We are asking that you send him some e-mails for us to read for him. He would love to hear them, we think, and it would let him know that people really do care about him. If you need to know it, his email is gtom5556@hotmail.com. Thank you for all your help and please pray for him with us. (And don’t worry; we will turn a blind eye to all of your ages.)

A few final notes: if the unthinkable happens, and he does die, we are going to auction off all his Magic cards and his Transformers collection. The proceeds will help to pay for his funeral, and an undecided amount will also be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the hospital where Greg got his life-saving operations as a young child, in his name. You should feel free to help bid on these collections, or simply donate directly there yourself. We will post links to the auction on eBay if that should happen.

Thanks to all of you. Please help spread this message to those of Greg’s friends who may have not seen this yet.

Longest. Day. Ever.

Forget about the whole “days get longer in the summer” deal. I just experienced the longest day ever… Quite literally, it was well more than 24 hours. I’m too tired to count it all up, but a quick estimate shows it to be around 40 hours in all. How did I pull this off, you may be asking? I’ll tell you, the International Date Line, she is a bitch. Our plane left Hong Kong at approximately 10:30AM on March 30th, and, after a 5 hour layover in Tokyo, Japan, we landed in Honolulu, Hawaii, at 7:00 AM the same day… OW.

So, what did I do with my extra big day? Quite a bit, of course. Waking up early sucked hard, especially since I’d stayed up until about 1 that morning. It was worth it, however, because in the extra time I had in Hong Kong’s airport, I picked up the one, the only, the tape-deck that is far superior to 6 construction trucks, SOUNDWAVE. WAHOO!!! Oh, and Lazerbeak, or Condor, as the Japanese box declared. WHEE! I’m pretty sure that I can’t pick this guy up in the States, so he was well worth the $505HK – about $65US – at the time. He is an absolutely awesome Transformer, even if he is just a reissue from the 80’s. He can fit Lazerbeak, or any other Transformers Cassettes I have, in his chest compartment, but that was to be expected. The big surprise for me, actually, was that his guns, both the shoulder mounted thing and a cylindrical missile launcher, both “transform” into AA batteries to power Soundwave as a tape deck. As a tape deck, the only way I can describe his form is ‘tight’, both as a synonym for awesome, and as in, not loose. He just sits there, you know, like a little box, being awesome. It rocks.

Anyway, after the short hop over to Tokyo, we meandered around for a little bit. Little Clara took to walking like she’d been doing it all her life, and apparently the only thing holding her back was the tight spaces of the hotel rooms we had been staying in. Also, at the gift shop, I picked up another Transformer I didn’t recognize at all, actually: Skids, so now I have an Autobot to bow before the majesty of Soundwave. Er, I mean, heroically defeat him, of course! I also managed to pick out the one thing I had been unable to locate in China: manga in English. It’s a bilingual edition of Love Hina 1, the story about a 19-year-old HS graduate who is trying to pass the entrance exams to Tokyo University, where his true love was supposedly waiting for him. He has failed for almost 2 years now, with his abysmal grades making it seem hopeless for him. His parents finally got fed up and kicked him out, and here the story begins, with him arriving at his grandmother’s hot springs hotel, hoping for a little charity, only to discover that the hotel is now a girl’s dorm! Full of very good looking young ladies, too boot! After a series of misunderstandings, the lucky guy (who I’m too lazy to look up the name of right now) is given the job of caretaker or the facility while his grandmother is off on a globe trotting adventure. Yep, you pinned me, I’m a sucker for Girls Manga, it seems, though this one is a lot more male oriented than Chobits was, plus I read Megatokyo and .Hack//Twilight, so I’m not ALL girl, or w/e. Anyway, that’s enough of that.

The plane ride from Tokyo to Honolulu was aboard a nice 777, complete with personal view screens, and so on. I got to watch a couple of movies. Loony Tunes: Back in Action was alright, as was The Rundown, though neither was “Oscar Quality.” Who wants to watch Oscar Quality on an airplane, anyway? Actually, I did watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on my last trip to Hawaii. It was n the way back actually, and the movie really wasn’t easy to follow along with. Subtitles plus tiny screen equals no good. Meanwhile, the two today were just stupid fun. I didn’t even pay much attention to The Rundown, actually, because I found Zelda to be more entertaining, while The Rock did his thing as a background to my Hyrulian adventure. On further evaluation, though, I need to stop passing up the complimentary head phones, and claiming that “I have my own. While it’s true that I do, they hurt more than the old ones did, because they clamp onto your earlobes with springs… They’re not that bad, and I like them because they will easily fit into a pocket, unlike most hard-form head phones. The ones I got are the Sony “W.EAR” ones, or “H.EAR” or something. They’re round, and have detachable covers to make them look schnazzier. “Yay” for non-endorsed plugs.

Anyway, I got to Hawaii safe and sound, and somehow before I had taken off that morning. It was odd to know that after all that traveling, I had to live out another day still. Oh well. I did manage to get in a shower, a nap, a trip to the beach, another shower, and still some time to chat on the computer. Oh, and for those of you interested, the time difference between here and Texas is four hours, New York is 5 hours, and California is 2 hours. I have yet to meet anyone online who lives in the Mountain Zone, though, which is odd… someone had better move there.

Ah yes, I told you this was something I considered to be the best day of my life. I got Soundwave, and successfully completion of my goal for the Japanese airport (getting a manga book). Being in Hawaii is another plus, but the REAL big news, I guess, is that… I GOT ACCEPTED INTO COLLEGE!!! Texas Tech, to be precise, among others, but TT is where I’m going. I’ve currently got Matt researching what all needs to be done to make me his roommate next year, which will kick ass. We will have quite possibly the 1337357 dorm out there, and definitely one of the most sleep-in-iest. O.0 W00t.

Oh, and a quick note on hotel accommodations, the one thing dampening this otherwise perfect day. I’m stuck sharing a room with my grandfather and Uncle David. First off, having my own room in Hong Kong after PJ and Danny left was a very nice thing, even if it was just for 2 nights, and now I’m jammed into a room with two people again, and stuck on the rollaway again and this time, they’re both older, and more uptight (although PJ could be a little annoying on his own, riding my ass about how I’m always on the computer, and how I couldn’t get into college. On the one hand, I’m glad that he can’t make fun of my non-college-ness EVERY DAY anymore, but on the other hand, “Can you spell ‘COLLEGE’”, which he said at the dinner table, was really quite funny. Sorry PJ, if you’re reading this, but the joke is only funny in moderation.) And the worst part – Uncle David snores. Ugh.

Okay, here’s a trivia note, this is the second blog I wrote in Word instead of just in the Blogger page like usual. The reason? The stupid guard downstairs didn’t want me plugged into the wall there, and that’s where the internet is in this damned hotel, so I’m only getting one hour bursts on the ‘net. Oh well… See you guys later!

AGH!

Okay, this is probably stupid, ranting at like midnight, the night before a big flight... More on that later. Anyhow, howdy from, er... Hong Kong, actually. Yeah, I sorta managed to miss resetting and telling you all where I was.. My bad. Anyway, I'm back online, and have a bunch to talk about... Here goes.

Stage 1: Traffic - (Where the hell did that format come from?!) Here in Hong Kong its not nearly as bad, but both here and in Beijing, traffic is a nightmare. It doesn't help matters that traffic signals, when they do appear, are regarded as mere suggestions by the local drivers. The funny part about it is, that even though there is nearly 0 KPH (Kilometers per hour - more on metric in a bit) traffic constantly, people are actually nice about it. You don't yell at the jerk because he cut you off, you respect him for being the better driver and making the gap. You're gonna get there eventually. That seems to be the prevailing logic. And for all the amazingly dangerous-seeming driving done by nearly all of China's one billion people, I've seen not a single accident my entire stay here... Freaky, no?

Stage 2: Metrics - (Don't worry, I won't keep this up any more after tonite...) Why is America still using Imperial Measurements, when the rest of the world has adapted to the wonders of metrics. Metrics, quite frankly, rock. They are like what we use, on crack, or speed, or acid, or all three, or whatever it is that make you see colors and understand the universe better. And no one else still uses the Imperial Measures, even England, and they fucking invented the stuff! Metric are the world standard, and the U.S.'s refusal to accept them just shows what big jerks we are. Ugh, take me now, Australia...

Stage 3: Manga - Dunno if I should be saying this, but, (not like its a top secret project, I guess) I've recently joined up a project with a couple of friends to make a real live manga, hopefully to enter TokyoPop's "Rising Stars of Manga" contest, number 4. Even if that doesn't work, I'm still pushing to get our work published online, the way Megatokyo is. In any case, I unfortunately have no artistic talent at all (even my handwriting is terrible, as anyone who's seen it knows), but I DO have the ability to write. I had an unused story idea bouncing around my head, which involved an imaging effect that a written would never be able to convey fully, so I jumped at the chance to get it into manga format... I'm just hoping my friends can draw the effect based on my crap-tacular description of it. (Don't worry, its not the plague survivors story I mentioned months ago and never got around to starting.) I don't really want to tell you that much about it, because very little has been finalized at this point, and so much of it is up in the air, but... AHHH!!! I'm just bursting with excitement about the project, which I guess gets the code name of "G.S. Calista". (I'll leave you to wonder and guess at the meaning of that title.) I had to tell someone, even if its just to tease you with a lack of information. Hell, if you got me online, I'd prolly spill a little something about it... ^-^

Stage 4 - Departure: Once again, it's time for me to get on a plane. No, I'm not going home, though that reminds me of something strange. The most common question I've gotten while on vacation is "What time is it there?" followed by "Oh, its 'X:YZ' over here." Sigh... But the second most common one is "When are you going home?" or "Are you back home yet?" by people I have never met IRL before... It's downright disturbing, and makes me wonder how bad it will get if I'm ever in Fred's (of Megatokyo) position with Calista. But no, tomorrow I head to Hawaii. WHEE!! People will finally SPEAK ENGLISH! WITH A MOSTLY RECOGNIZABLE ACCENT!!!! Heh. For a place with one of the official languages being English, they really don't speak it that much... It's better here than in Beijing, but still.... Plus, tomorrow I'll be staying in the Japanese Airport for 5 hours... I think I've mentioned this, but... gotta get some anime / manga stuff in Japanese, so I can learn it! Heh... *Puts on "Real Emotion" from FFX-2.*

Stage 5 - More on China: I have had some fun out here, yesterday I went to see the giant Buddha on some island I'll never remember the name of, but, whoo boy was it BIG!!! It was foggy, though, so he wasn't really clear. I got to go up, see the "Relic" (a tiny crystallized piece of the Buddha this temple is made for, or whatever), and then I saw his face. It was smiling. ^-^ My one note, though, and this isn't the only place, but several temples (all the ones I went to) had merchants selling tourist crap to everyone. I just keep thinking back to that one biblical story, replacing Jesus with a chubby Buddha, going "YOU HAVE TURNED MY HOUSE INTO A DEN OF THIEVES!!! *Lifts up table to try and flip it, but is too fat to do it.*" (I know he's not that fat, and could easily take the table, but he's also enlightened, which I'm hoping involves pacifism. It does for me. ^-^)

Alright, Stages complete. For your bonus question, here's a quote from the Jackie Chan movie "The Medallion" I saw tonite:

Jackie - "What are you doing? That's a temple! You can't take guns in there!"
Cop - "It's alright.. See these guns? They're holy guns."

Okay, Enough Barbie

What's with you people? Do I need a sign? "I WANT READER FEEDBACK!" Somehow, I don't think that will work. If my "guess the quote" thing, and then this "vote on Barbie" poll failed to attract ANY attention... I dunno, is anyone reading this thing? Not that I care, it's just... Talking to your echo ain't always that entertaining, you know?

But echo I shall. Went to the great wall today. And lemme tell you... It's not so great. That whole "visible from space" crap is just that: a load of BS. Its like 10ft wide. Literally. And I don't care what P.J. says, walls should be even and flat, NOT built with stairs going up at sixty-plus degree angles. Ugh.. I'm getting tired just thinking about it. I'll talk about other stuff later. Like the traffic that only Matt would feel at home in. Later.

Who Wants To Marry An American Idol?

I know, I know, you want to hear about how awesome Beijing is (and it is pretty awesome, at least some of the time), but tonight, something far more important has arisen.

...Holy Crap, I just checked CNN.com looking for a link, and I saw this. Please note, this is NOT my original intent, but this could spell trouble for me and my vacation. (!.!) My new background, which this thing won't let me show you, is very amazing, and fits my reaction perfectly. Ask me about it some time, won't you?

But back to my original story: Barbie and Ken have broken up. This should be old news, but anyway, the new question is, who's next for Barbie. The question was posed by my cousin, who promptly shot down many of my suggestions. I thought they were good, though, so I'll tell you, after I finish the set up. Back in America, Lena, my cousin, saw the commercials for the new Fox reality show, where a girl tries to pick from 10 guys, 5 straight, 5 gay(my cousin is to young to understand this; she just saw them as being poor picks), for her soul mate. If she picks a straight guy, they split the $100,000 prize. If she picks a gay one, he wins it all for himself. Anyway, Lena suggested this format for the dating selection of Barbie's new boy from my long list of fictional characters. This time, instead of using Gay choices to fool her, a few characters are thrown in who already have girls for them. (Actually, that rarely came up, but when it did, that was how we explained it.)

Here are your candidates, in no particular order.

G.I. Joe - A Real American hero, Joe is a classic match for Barbie after her break up. He just seemed like the next in line. Problem is, he's almost TOO cliche. Plus, with the recent war in the Middle East or wherever, Joes gonna be going a lot more, and coming a lot less. So this may not be the best time for him to get in a relationship.

Michelangelo - The Orange Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Of all the Ninja Turtles, Michelangelo seems to be the one who's most likely to end up with the blonde bombshell. All of the anamorphic ninjitsu were dismissed by Lena as just being flat out wrong, but I'll counter that with my end all statement, "Ninjas can do ANYTHING.

Optimus Prime - The Autobot Leader. If there's one thing a girl likes more than a guy with a cool car, its a guy who IS a cool car. Plus, he's gentle, caring, and kind, a perfect gentleman, er, gentlebot. And he will kick ass if you're in trouble, a good trait in any boyfriend.

Bumblebee - The Autobot, um... Volkswagen. Okay, I cheated and did two Transformers. But still, you gotta admit, he's a lot cuter than Prime. The friendliest Autobot by far, he also has the added bonus of being a VW Beetle, a car Barbie has been known to drive. AND HE'S CUUUTE!!!

Batman - Billionaire Super Hero. He's rich and amazingly suave as Bruce Wayne, and then he's the ultimate fighter at night. And again, going along the car theme, he's got a fast one. A little dark for Barbie, but still. And Barbie's been a superhero, so she can keep his secret, and maybe help a little in the insanity department as "psychiatrist Barbie."

James Bond - The Sean Connery One. None of the others work, really. But Bond, James Bond is every bit as suave as Bruce Wayne, even while he's actioning it up. His car is almost as cool as Batman's, not as fast, and not the same bells and whistles, though it does have the same amount or more of weapons. And it looks better, for Barbie's purposes.

Luigi Mario - Italian Plumber in the Mushroom Kingdom. The problem with both Bond and Wayne is that they are not know for keeping girls for long term relationships. And they ARE somewhat secretive, not much to tell Barbie when they get home. No, what she needs is someone like Luigi. He's got a steady job of plumbing (I think he works for the Mushroom Kingdom as they're personal Green Pipes repairman and Turtle Remover). He has super powers (only when he eats a Magic Mushroom - Drug Therapy Dr. Barbie, anyone?) And though his brother always gets the girl, he still trucks along; he's determined! I think it's high time he got a girl.

And some other random ones for you to consider:

Bob The Builder: This suggestion was by PJ, and made me laugh out loud.
Pikachu: More as a pet, but still.
The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Ummm... Maybe not.
Link: I'm pretty sure he's not really with Zelda, she just tells him stuff to do.
Ben: Rhymes with Ken.... I don't know who Ben is, but it means that Barbie will only have to change one letter.
Anakin Skywalker: He's taken by Padme`, but he's still a Jedi, and that's worth points.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Episode II version, not the old/dead one from the classic trilogy, more Jedi, less female attachments.
Piro: After all he's been through, he DESERVES Barbie. And look at him, he's practically beating them off with a stick.
Largo: Wait, no, that's not good.
Han Solo: Everyone loves a scoundrel. (Including his wife, Leia... D'oh!)
Indiana Jones: On a par with Bond, Wayne, and Solo, but he has a track record of KEEPING the ladies throughout out a whole movie.

Okay, there are your many candidates. I'll leave the voting up to you. Write in candidates are allowed, and guess what, I'll even add them to the blog, with YOUR NAME! Wheee....

Holy shit, that last bit took a harsh turn towards giddy, so I'd better get to sleep. G'night, and good voting.

Greetings From Beijing!

WOW! I GOT FREE INTERNET!

Okay, that's out of my system. In other news, English fluency has dropped approximately 400%. And this place is drier, which doesn't help our problem of non-drinkable drinking water. And I get stuck on another cot.... Oh yeah, you guys don't know the story yet. Here goes: We arrive in Hong Kong, and as soon as we realize that I am sharing a room with my brothers, I got out-dibbed by PJ and Dan, and was relegated to the cot. The Whole Time. Flash forward to the room, and I find that the cot is, in fact, much preferable to the singular Queen bed the other 2 now have to share. ^-^ I used this opportunity to remind them that they had insisted that we not rotate, so they could be nice and cozy the whole time. Wasn't that nice of me? Of course, we eventually got traded into room with 2 beds, and I still was stuck in the cot... Until they leave and i stay. Course, I'm prolly gonna get stuck with Uncle David, and he SNORES! And he's gonna go to sleep at like 7pm, or whenever we get back in from dinner, whichever comes first. That will make it VERY hard for me to get online... OR, it will make me go to sleep and wake up earlier. Yeah, I actually like that idea, so I can talk to you all when its evening over there. ^-^ again.

God, I just got shocked by my computer. It sucks over here. The dryness, or something, is causing a great deal of static electricity between me and any other metal surfaces. This country HUUUUURTS... I wanna go home! And I miss all of you so much, even the one's I only know online. It's weird, I know, but I'm a weird kinda guy.

OH! I gotta tell you about my mini adventure today. See, the rooms power needs for you to insert your keycard in a certain slot for it to work. And as my brothers left for dinner (I wasn't hungry) they took the card, draining my power. And then I couldn't find them. I ran down to all the restaurants, and no joy. So I ran to the lobby desk, and got an extra key. Yay. Hey, I told you it was a MINI adventure.

Okay, I gotta go off. I love all you who I usually say that to, and tolerate the rest. Bye.

Even More, Still In HK

Hey, short one today. I finally got an internet card, so I have some more online time. And... Um... I saw what they called a "Laser Light Show," which was really just some lights and lazers on top of tall buildings, moving from left to right. It was cool, because it had some music going to it, and narration in Cantonese, so I couldn't understand it.

Anyway, then today I went to the famous Ocean Park. It was alright, as theme parks go. I saw a panda, and more advertizements with pandas. Eating WAFFLES! And the Cartoon picture of it was just... I know it's the wrong language, but, KAWAII! ^-^! They had outdoor escalators there, the longest in the world, it seems, which is nice, until you realize it's the only way up, and a tremendous bottle neck when its closing time. U.U

Couple of things. Tonite, in a few mins, I'm going to eat at the Bostonian. Last night I was at the Main Street Deli, which is fashioned after New York. So much for foriegn food, eh? At least I've avoided the McDonalds. Also, I noticed something I've never seen in America: Billboard advertisements for BRAS. I remember, before reading it, thinking "Whatever they're selling, as long as its not the bra, I'm gonna buy two of it." So, I guess their ad failed.

Alright, I really MUST eat now, or so my blonde cousin tells me. BTW, apparently she's such an oddity to the locals, she got stopped several times to get her picture taken at the Park. Go figure. Okay, bai bai.

More From HK

Ah, the sites. Still no sighting of the blitzball stadium yet. But I'm sure it's here. It's just hiding. How the hell do you hide a giant floating ball of water? I don't know. But I'll ask them when I find the thing. Maybe I'll learn to breath underwater.

Anyway, today was about being a shopping tourist. Or maybe a touristy shopper. Either profession works over here. There are many malls, most of which are English oriented, at least partially. I went to one earlier this morning which was like an old-timey market place, where you could haggle. It was cool. I found some magic booster pack that were selling for less that 2$US. I thought that was rather good, and wanted to try and get some Chinese Language cards, so I went and bought five of them. So I open them, and… they’re counterfeit. They were a mix-mash of Onslaught, Mirrodin, and 8th, and they each had one WHITE BOREDED foil… WTF? Anyway, um… Anyone out there want a couple of very fake Broodstars? ^-^

Later we went to the mall, and I managed to get PJ somewhat lost while attempting to find the Toys’R’Us so I could view the transformers. Unfortunately, all I found were the ones I already had. Major bummer.

The internet here is a tad odd. I got a Dial-Up Card so I could use the internet , and it went stupid on my ass. Then I plugged in the network cable, which costs me even more money (Though not much, thankfully), and THAT’s being crappy, too. Sigh. Why do I even bother. I’d better get off this and quit wasting my grandpa’s money. (I’m gonna pay him back!...)

Oh, for those of you curious, the last post, which I put up an hour before writing this, was written the night before. So… It’s all screwy. But if you’re dying to chat with me over AIM, like I am with all of you, well... I’m on at around 7-9AM central time, so wake up early to talk to me. Bye.
